Born & raised in LaGrange, I am a Troup High School graduate. I have been married to my husband Tony, soon to be 34 years. I gave birth & raised 3 children, which now have multiplied into 6 that I call my own: Brenton & Emily Matheny, Britney & Joseph Keith & Breanne & Andrew Gaddy. Tony & I are a very blessed Nana & Poopa to 6 precious granddaughters: Isabel & Ella Matheny, Baylor & Blakely Keith, Brynlee Reese & Adleigh Drew Gaddy.

My family & I are long time members of Faith Baptist Church where we are active in many ministries such as Judgment Journey, He is Alive & Women of Faith. I am also a sustainer with the Junior Service League & a member of LaGrange-Troup County Chamber of Commerce.

Fairly new “officially” to real estate, my journey actually began almost 32 years ago. After completing the real estate course, I was unable to take the state exam in Atlanta due to it being my due date to deliver my first child. My plans were to take the exam at the next available date after recovering from giving birth to my son. But time got away from me as I was enjoying being a new mom. Next thing I knew, I had two more babies so my time was focused on raising my children. As my children grew old enough to begin school, it was time for me to go to work. I was very blessed to be able to start my own business at that time to be flexible enough to be home when my children were home. So, for over 25 years, I have owned & operated Multi-Line Ltd. Bulk Mailing Services. With this business, I have been given a great opportunity to meet some wonderful people along the way & to learn so much about our community. But even as the years passed, my passion for wanting to be a REALTOR® was still there. Tony & I were able to build several homes over these years, then eventually sell them. As I look back over some of the experiences we have had, it makes me realize that these times were building blocks for my real estate career.

I have very much enjoyed this path that God has placed me on over the past couple of years. I have met so many great new people & learned so much more than I thought I ever could. One thing I have enjoyed the most is being able to help people with purchasing or selling their property. There is so much joy when the time comes to be able to sit at a closing table & see the excitement on the new homeowners faces, no matter which side of the closing I am on.

I look forward to what 2017 has to offer…the new clients/customers I will have the pleasure to work with, so much knowledge that I still strive to gain & seeing new homeowners find their dream homes!
